My Kitten, Scooter (happy)

Today was going to be the best day of my life. I was getting a kitten! The day seemed to be the slowest day ever and it was never going to be 5:00. I made a special cage for her and I put a blanket, a little pillow and some little toys in it for her. I waited.....and waited.......and WAITED....until finally the clock said 5:00.

We got into the car and drove my mom's friends house and we finally got there. When we went inside there a whole bunch of little kittens running around everywhere and I couldn't help picking them up. The kitten's mom was really pretty. It was a whole bunch of colors. All of her kittens were either black or white. All of them except one. "I want to get that one" I said to my mom. I picked t up and it bit me. It didn't hurt though because her teeth were really small. I put her into the cage we brought for her. She went over to the toys and started biting them and playing with them. We put the cage in the car and drove away. The whole way home she was meowing and biting the bars on the cage. She was the cutet thing I had ever seen.

When we got home Sally (our dog) went strait to the cage and the little kitten ran strait to the back of it. Slowly she walked up to the front of the cage and batted at Sal's nose. Sal pulled her nose back. She didn't like the kitten.

We named her Scooter and everybody that saw her loved her. Everyone except for dad (He doesn't like cats). When she got older Sally and her became friends and they loved eachother.

Getting a kitten was the best thing that ever happened to me.
