A Happy Stuffed Dog

I was so happy today! I’d been sitting on the shelf in the store for sooooo long and finally a little girl came and picked me up. She brought me home and put me down on her bed. She made a special little bed just for me beside hers and she tucked me in to it and said goodnight to me. Before she went to sleep she told me that she was never going to give me away and she was always going to love me. That night I thought about what it was like in the store compared to what it was like here...having my own home and that made me feel even happier about coming home and having a home forever.
